I appreciate St. John for tackling the challenges faced by military couples. Unfortunately, it isn't uncommon for spouses to structuring deployment cycles. I'm glad that love prevailed Chase and London.
Great plot job well done. Many people do realize how bad war can be, in till you be w them. PTSD can present in various forms. Some like this character,other's and become hoarders, some become excessive spenders, just some many forms. This character was young enough to see that love can conquer all. I chose this book, as a veteran, it's gives great pleasure to see other r s May understand what some of us go through. Good reading .
I enjoyed the story line and could relate to the characters. My only complaint is that she focused too much on London's size. I get that is was part of her character make up and what drove her in some ways but it was constantly brought up and unnecessarily so. Not to mention based on the size measurements given in the beginning of the story London was an average size not huge or sloppy fat. How do i know, I am almost the exact measunents as London. I know that her size was her insecurity but it was over kill. Other than that I enjoyed the love story.
I truly loved this book it was nice to read about a plus size woman being sexy and desired by a man...I loved London even thou she had her heart broken by Shawn she couldn't fight the love she had for Chase. Chase was everything his love for London was beautiful even thou he had a couple of demons he loved her enough to work thru them......Overall this was a great book!!!!!#
I choose this rating because I. really enjoyed myself love the army special ops. Knowing that they to go through personal deep experience and that with the right help they can go forward in their lives. Hope their is a series for this book would love to see what happens to the sisters and violet to see if they get that special someone as well as the brother.
London and Chase story was well written and very good. It explored problems that veterans experience following their military tours and years of travel. Both Chase and London were betrayed and it was hard to trust people. Chase had a serious problem with therapy even though he had reoccurring nightmares. Mason proved to a true friend to Chase. Shawn was a jerk. By the end of the book it seems as though London was mending fences with her biological father. I have read all of the books in this series. The author has done a good job.
Loved London Hart and Chase Tanner's story. London a beautiful curve sister who's ex-husband Shawn put her down because of her size. Chase Tanner special ops retired moved to New Orleans to work construction with one of his army buddies. Chance meeting at a night club brought the two together after much back and forth the two became one. Chase dealing with PTSD, London dealing with her ex, her father, her mother, her sisters and her brother. Loved the story my husband and I spent our honeymoon in New Orleans and we loved it.
